'Longmire' Season 5 news, updates and spoilers: 'Nip/Tuck' Alum Dylan Walsh joins cast; Vic and Walt to tie the knot?

The fourth season of Netflix's contemporary crime drama "Longmire" came to a close last year, and fans are wondering when their favorite TV series will return to the small screen.
While everyone waits for the network to announce a definitive release date, a new actor has been confirmed to join the cast — Dylan Walsh. As noted by Deadline, Walsh has signed for a recurring role in the show's upcoming fifth season. He will play the role of Shane Muldoon, who is described as "Eddie Heffernan's criminal boss" but his personality is quite opposite from his line of work. Shane has a "calm, assertive intelligence" yet his charm might fool anyone who deals with him. Walsh is known for his role as Dr. Sean McNamara in "Nip/Tuck" where he had a chance to work with "Longmire" executive producer Greer Shephard. The actor was also a part of ABC's LGBT-themed miniseries titled "When We Rise" where he portrayed the character of Al Burns.
As for the forthcoming season's plot, reports say that there might be a wedding in season 5. Will Vic and Walt finally tie the knot? Details about the season's plot are being kept under wraps, but a Twitter post from director TJ Scott had everyone talking. In the picture he recently shared via his personal social media account, a script of "Longmire" season 5 episode 7 was seen. It is entitled "From this Day Forward," which is also a popular phrase in wedding vows. This led fans to speculate that a couple might be getting married, however, the director or anyone from the show has yet to confirm if the rumors were true.
The main cast members who will return next season include Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman and Adam Bartley. As of this writing, "Longmire" season 5 has yet to have an official premiere date.
