'Longmire' season 5 air date, spoilers: Walt and Henry to end their friendship; will Walt also end his affair with Donna?
In less than a month, Netflix and A&E Network's crime-drama TV show "Longmire" will be returning to the small screen. The show's fifth season is expected to showcase a number of changes. Walt (Robert Taylor) and Vic (Katee Sackhoff) will take their relationship to a whole new level while Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Walt will be putting an end to their friendship.
The TV adaptation of Craig Johnson's best-selling "Walt Longmire" mystery novels will be full of changes and revelations for its upcoming chapter.
In an interview with Access Hollywood Live, Phillips revealed that Henry has two different personas. Walt will find out next season that Henry is actually a vigilante. Consequently, Walt's discovery will have a great effect on their friendship. Sources said that the characters might be severing ties next season.
Other than that, Phillips shared that his character will not be going to jail. The actor said Henry and Mathias (Zahn McClaron) will strike a deal that could let Henry off the hook.
"The last we saw, Henry was being carted off to jail by Zahn McClaron, who plays Mathias. In that scene, you will see what happens, if they cut a deal," Phillips said. "Henry will be continuing his dual role as Hector, the sort of vigilante, justice-bringer to the reservation, which will put him on a collision course with Walt Longmire, his best friend," he added.
Moreover, Sackhoff's recent Instagram post sparked intrigue among fans. Many believe that Walt will finally marry Vic next season. If the TV adaptation will remain truthful to the novels, then fans might see a wedding in the forthcoming season. However, the show has yet to end Donna (Ally Walker) and Walt's affair.
