'Longmire' season 5 air date, spoilers news update: New trailer reveals Walt and Henry clashing
Netflix just released a trailer for the fifth season of its crime drama TV series "Longmire." The trailer revealed that Walt (Robert Taylor) will be having complicated relationships with his close friend, Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips), and with Vic (Katee Sackhoff).
The fifth season of the series will take off where the previous season ended, in which Walt and his girlfriend, Donna (Ally Walker), were shot by an intruder. Little is known about the upcoming season but some hints revealed that tough times await Walt.
As previously reported, Walt will find out next season that Henry is a vigilante. This will be why their friendship will enter a rough patch. Moreover, the trailer revealed a disoriented and somewhat confused Walt.
In the recently released trailer, a heated conversation between the two strongly implied that they might be severing ties in the forthcoming season. Walt can be heard telling Henry, "All I ever do is try to help people." He added, "All I ever get in return is people lying to me." "You choose to see it as disloyalty," Harry responded. In return, Walt answered back, "Dishonesty isn't disloyalty."
There were rumors suggesting that Vic and Walt will get together in the next season. Based on Craig Johnson's best-selling mystery novels "Walt Longmire," the couple will end up together. But the only question is when. Fans are wondering if it is a possibility for this season, knowing that Donna and Walt were just attacked. Will he be able to part ways with Donna so soon?
Fans of the novels and of the show will find out next season the fate of the titular character. "Longmire" season 5 will premiere on Netflix on Friday, Sept. 23.
