Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum: Release date, price, specs and features

Logitech recently unveiled a breakthrough in gaming devices: the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum. The ambidextrous wireless mouse is scheduled to go on sale in the United States and Europe by April. Logitech's latest innovation is currently available for pre-order through the company's website at a price of €179 or $149.99.
It has been a general belief that a wireless mouse always has a slower response and higher latency compared to one that is wired. However, Logitech tries to dispel that myth. With Logitech's claim that the G900 wireless mouse is faster than wired ones, it could be a game changer. Given its brand name "Spectrum," the mouse's exterior sports vibrant LED, similar to Razer's "Chroma." Battery life is considered as a big factor for gamers. Initially rated to have 24 hours of use in a single charge, the G900 can even stay on for up to 32 hours if the RGB LED light is off.
As for its sensor, the mouse uses the PMW3366 which is considered one of the best among its kind. The G900's body is curved with hard edges, with a hollowed out scroll wheel. The lightweight mouse weighs 107g, with its inner parts made with a spoked design to help lessen the weight. The mouse is ambidextrous, allowing both left-handed and right-handed people to use it with ease.
Trusted Reviews recently rated the G900 4.5 out of 5 stars, commenting, "The Logitech G900 is the best gaming mouse I've ever used, and while £135 is a massive premium to pay, if you're after the best in class for gaming mice, you can't go wrong." Garnering mostly positive reviews, the only drawback for some people is its price. "It's impressive to see a mouse so customizable as to bundle the parts necessary to make it work for left-handed players — and a wireless one that adds imperceptible weight to your luggage as well... And price remains the issue. The Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum will go on sale next month in both the United States and Europe for $150. That's the same as Razer's wireless Mamba, but it's a lot more than the typical mid-range gaming mouse, which sells for $40 to $60," Digital Trends' review reads.
