Lil Twist Charged for November 2014 Assault on Massey Brothers, Facing 25-Years if Convicted

Nearly five months after rapper Lil Twist, 21, and four of his associates were accused of assaulting and robbing showbiz colleague Kyle Massey and his brother Chris inside their apartment in November 2014, the police finally slapped Lil Twist with six felony charges.
If the charges stick, it could result in Lil Twist – whose legal name is Christopher Lynn Moore and who is attached to the Young Money record label – getting a 25-year jail sentence.
The charges were drawn up by the District Attorney's Office of Los Angeles County. They included burglary, grand theft, making criminal threats, and battery after Twist and his companions attacked Kyle and Chris with a deadly weapon. TMZ, which broke the news, said an arrest warrant has been issued for the rapper.
Twist is often spotted hanging out with Canadian singing star Justin Bieber and is often described as his "sidekick." Twist was visiting Kyle and Chris in their apartment last November along with four of his entourage when a dispute happened. As a result, the Massey brothers asked Twist to leave along with his friends.
This led to a fight during which Twist and his group forced their way back into the apartment. They proceeded to attack Chris with brass knuckles and took away his wallet and cell phone.
After the incident, the Massey family released a statement describing how Chris defended himself when he was assaulted and robbed by Twist and his accomplices.
The statement also noted that Chris had to "get medical attention as reported, but has no physical concerns especially with the severity of the altercation." The family also added that they planned to "legally pursue this to the full extent of the law."
Kyle and Chris are actors who have appeared on several Nickelodeon shows. Kyle starred in "That's So Raven" while Chris appeared on" Zoey 101."
