LG V20 release date, specs update: Dual camera similar to iPhone 7 outclasses LG V10; European launch still not confirmed
After weeks of speculations about the arrival of the LG V10's successor, the South Korean electronics company has recently unveiled the powerful LG V20. With the specs lineup of its predecessor considered top-of-the-line even for this date, it will be a challenge for LG V20 to surpass the previous model. Nevertheless, the features of the new LG smartphone are something that were not seen in any previous devices yet.

As reviewed by Forbes , the LG V20 bears a striking similarity with the LG G5 smartphone in terms of its outside appearance. At first look, it does not seem obvious that the LG V20 actually is the successor of the LG V10. If there is anything that stayed the same with LG V10, it is the LG V20's metal body that provides similar durability, if not better than its predecessor.
As for the camera features, the LG V20 might go head to head with another recently released handset, iPhone 7. This is due to the LG V20 also having a specialized dual camera that allows wider angle of camera shots. The rear camera is at 16MP, while the front or selfie camera is at 5MP. This alone is a huge improvement over the LG V10. The LG V20 is sporting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, accompanied by 4GB RAM for a faster system run.
Lastly, the LG V20 has the 5.7-inch screen display along with the IPS LCD, the latter being the secondary display panel for the smartphone, Mobile & Apps reported. Apart from the powerful core specifications and sophisticated appearance of the LG V20, what makes this handset so special is it being the first smartphone to be pre-installed with the Android 7.0 Nougat OS upon unboxing.
Regarding the release of LG V20, it was already confirmed that the smartphone will be distributed by the United States' major carrier companies, but the only problem is with the European countries as LG has no confirmation yet regarding the release of the smartphone in the continent, Phone Arena reported.
