LG V20 release date, specs news: V20 features impressive specs and affordable price

The LG V20 will be made available in the North American market soon. However, the South Korean tech giant has yet to reveal the price for the upcoming smartphone. Reports say that the device will come with impressive specs at a relatively cheap price tag.

LG will start taking pre-orders for its latest flagship smartphone, LGV20, on Friday, Oct. 21. New York-based retailer B&H Photo Video initially revealed that the device will be available for pre-orders starting Oct. 2. Soon after, the tech giant announced that the device will be available on a later date.

Though the online listing from B&H Photo Video revealed the pre-order date, the retailer didn't share the price details of the upcoming cell phone. Though the V20 price still hasn't been confirmed, reports suggest that the device will cost around $600.

Compared to Apple's latest smartphone, the LGV20 is way cheaper. Despite the affordable price, its features do not disappoint.

The smartphone will be made of a metal back, which gives the device a premium look. Its sleek design will come with the latest Android software, the Android Nougat.

Furthermore, the device will be the first to have a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, which allows the device to produce high-end units of audio. Hence, its audio quality will be better than most smartphones in the market.

Its microphone, on the other hand, will be able to support an extra 15 decibels of audio as compared to its predecessor, the V10. Like the previous device, the V20 will still have a removable battery.

LG's upcoming smartphone will have a powerful dual camera. It will boast rear wide angle lenses which will allow users to snap high-quality photos in low light settings.

Reports say that the North American model of V20 will be available in three major network connections: GSM, CDMA, and 4G LTE.
