With the official cancellation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, tech users are looking for an alternative high-end tablet for 2016 and some have said that it could very well be the LG V20. The device was announced back in September and it's now reportedly available for purchase at retail stores.

AT&T has just announced on their Twitter account that users will now be able to purchase the V20 in their stores. The company is also offering a discount which gives users a free H3 by B&O Play whenever they trade in their older smartphones.

T-Mobile is offering the LG V20 as well, and they have promised free extras for any customer that has pre-ordered the device.

Reports are saying that the V20 will serve as LG's flagship phablet (phone/tablet) and it is the first smartphone that will be shipping out with the Android 7.0 Nougat as its operating system. Like the Galaxy Note 7, the V20 has a 5.7-inch Quad HD display and is one of the newer smartphones that includes a user-swappable battery.

The device is also said to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 4 GB of RAM and an Adreno 530 Graphics Processing Unit. It also has an internal storage of 64 GB and a microSD expansion slot that can support about 2 TB of data.

The LG V20 also comes with a dual rear camera system (16 MP and 8 MP), as well as a front camera (5 MP). The phablet can also capture videos at Ultra HD 30 fps and it can let users time-lapse and use slow-motion video.

The battery is said to be a removable 3,200 mAh battery which has a standby lifespan of 18.5 days and 23 hours lifespan if in use.

The LF V20 is now available for purchase in retail stores and has a price tag of $829.99. Stay tuned for more details.
