The LG G Flex 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge come with great design and curved screens, but they look completely different as one features a bent tip that flows over its right edge while the other has a fully curved body and screen.

Comparing their design, the G Flex 2 much like its predecessor has a curve that flows from top to bottom and a plastic screen that is coated with DuraGuard glass which gives it added protection and durability. The back panel also has a special self-healing coating which allows for rapid healing of minor cuts and scratches. The Note Edge, on the other hand, has a stunning screen that wraps around its right edge and works completely independently from the main screen to display notifications from important apps. It also has a S Pen stylus.

Coming to their displays, the G Flex 2 has a P-OLED 5.5-inch screen that has a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch. The Note Edge has a slightly bigger 5.6-inch super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a pixel density of 524 pixels per inch.

As for specs, the G Flex 2 has the latest Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset and has a quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5 GHz and a quad-core Cortex-A57 clocked at 2 GHz for its CPU, along with Adreno 430 GPU. The Note Edge, on the other hand, has the older Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 CPU and Adreno 420 GPU. Coming to RAM size, the G Flex 2 has 2GB while the Note Edge has 3GB.

Both devices come with a microSD slot. While the Note Edge's external memory can be expanded up to 128 GB, the G Flex 2 can even support a 2 terabyte card if needed.

Finally in terms of price, the G Flex 2, which was launched on Tuesday in CES 2015, has no official price tag. However, many expect the phone to be priced along the lines of the LG G3. As for the Note Edge, it is currently available from major carriers and is priced at $400 with a two-year contract.
