Chinese multinational technology company, Lenovo has just recently launched a new smartphone in China called ZUK Z2. According to the reports, the handset is a less powerful version of the mighty ZUK Z2 Pro, which was launched in April.

The new device has been given a price tag of $273, which is pretty reasonable compared to the other devices in its class. The smartphone will be released on June 7. According to reports, consumers will have an option to get the wireless charger for $45.

Although the device is not quite as impressive as its big brother, it will still come with a 5-inch Full HD screen and a 1080x1920 pixel display resolution. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm, which is clocked at 2.15 GHz.

The Lenovo ZUK Z2 will run on a pre-installed Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and will carry 4 GB of RAM. The device will also come with a 64 GB onboard storage capacity; however, there is no report suggesting that it will have an expandable storage option. The new smartphone will have a dual nano-sim support and boasts a 13 MP primary shooter with LED flash. Buyers can also enjoy taking selfies with its 8 MP front facing snapper. Other features of the device include a fingerprint sensor, which is also present on the Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro. The impressive yet affordable smartphone will also carry a 3,500 mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the $273 price tag of the device only shows that it is a perfect budget handset for everyone. It has every connectivity option that all high-end smartphones have – Wi-Fi, 4G, LTE, 3G, GPS, USB Type-C and Bluetooth.

The new smartphone will join the recently released Lenovo ZUK Z1, which is dubbed as the cheapest smartphone in the market today with 64 GB internal storage capacity.

As of the moment, there has been no report of a western release for the Lenovo ZUK Z2.
