'Legends of Tomorrow' season 2 episode 5 spoilers: Legends learn new revelation about Damien Darhk; Amaya and Nate seek help from JSA

Promotional still of the JSA in \"Legends of Tomorrow\" season 2 | The CW

More secrets will be unraveled in the upcoming episode of The CW's superhero drama  "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

Titled "Compromised," this week's episode will see things take an unexpected turn when the Legends travel to another timeline. According to the official synopsis for episode five, the Legends trace a time quake to President Reagan's White House, only to discover that their old rival Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough) is now working as a Senior Adviser to Reagan.

While the team tries to uncover Darhk's evil plans, Sara (Caity Lotz) struggles to decide on what she should prioritize: getting revenge or helping her team work on their larger mission. Believing that the JSA members could help them, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) break into the JSA headquarters and are shocked at what they find. Elsewhere, Stein (Victor Garber) attempts to prevent his younger self from creating a bigger time Abberation.

The previous episode featured Ray (Brandon Routh) eventually losing his ATOM suit. After making an unlikely friend, it looks like he will take over Captain Cold's (Wentworth Miller) place with Heatwave/Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) as the show's new villain/hero duo. Routh recently caught up with The Hollywood Reporter and he mentioned what the new partnership will bring to the story as season 2 progresses.

"Comedy, hopefully," the actor said. "Ray impresses himself or pushes himself on Mick a little bit. Even though they are very opposite, there is some kinship that has developed because of their opposing natures. Mick begrudgingly puts up with Ray and kind of understands Ray's depression and big shift that he's going through after having lost his suit in such dramatic fashion. It continues for several episodes and Ray will come to really gain a lot of insight himself through the relationship with Mick. It's a good partnership."
