Halloween may be over, but scary games and monsters are trending to gamers all year round. The zombie shooter game "Left 4 Dead" has had some pretty interesting mods over the years, and it looks like more are being added up to the list.

To get into the Halloween spirit, modder Yogensia released two new weapons based on Hollywood horror icons. The first being the axe from Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" and the second being Jason Voorhees' machete from "Friday the 13th." He said the the weapons were a collaboration between him, Maksymilian Genewicz, Rafael De Jongh and Renato Carvalho.

Yogensia said, "I still enjoy the idea of adding new [mods]... It's all about finding something that piques my interest and matches my skills, then finding free time to work on it."

The next weapon that he wants to make is Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bat from "The Walking Dead," Lucille. He said he wants to start working on it in the next few weeks.

Interestingly enough, though "The Walking Dead" and "Left 4 Dead" have the common element of zombies in them, Lucille was never used to kill zombies but was used by Negan to keep his underlings in line. He also used it to kill "The Walking Dead" fan-favorite Glenn (Steven Yeun).

Going back to Yogensia, his website features multiple weapons that he has custom modded for the game. Among those are Harley Quinn's bat from "Suicide Squad" and the Ringwraith's sword from "The Lord of the Rings" movies. He's also made various swords from different fantasy games and even not-so-practical weapons like bass guitars and a Nuka Cola cap from the "Fallout" series.

"Left 4 Dead 2" was released back in 2009, but a lot of people are still playing the game today. The game has a current rating of 10/10 on Steam and with the new mods coming out, interest will constantly be renewed.

"Left 4 Dead 2" is now available on Steam.
