'Left 4 Dead 3' release date news: New title to launch at E3, release in 2017?

"Left 4 Dead" fans are slowly getting impatient with regard to the release rumor of the upcoming "Left 4 Dead 3." Game developer Valve Corporation has continued to stay mum about the development of the third installment. However, rumors about the game keep popping up on the internet. New reports suggest that the company is planning to launch the upcoming title at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016, which is slated to happen in June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The rumors also suggest that following its launching at the said event, the game will be released in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One consoles. There are reports saying that the release of the second sequel of the first-person horror shooter video game will be followed by a release of another title of the popular franchise "Half-Life 3."
Nonetheless, all information regarding "Left 4 Dead 3" should be considered as just rumored and speculations until the company confirms them.
Meanwhile, the rumor about its nearing release date was sparked by the previous report that co-developer Turtle Rock Studios is looking for a video game programmer as posted in the job listing. The job opening is said to be for a future project, which many speculated could be the much anticipated "Left 4 Dead 3."
However, Turtle Rock Studios had already stated in the previous reports that they are already done with the "Left 4 Dead" franchise. According to Yibada, the company made it clear that they will no longer take part in any game development related to "Left 4 Dead."
"I think we're pretty much done with it. It's Valve's thing now," said Phil Robb, founder of Turtle Rock Studios. "We've kind of gone off in our own direction. So I'd kinda like to see something new being done with it, and Valve always does great stuff, but it'd be cool to go back to it as just a fan and not a developer. But I doubt you'll see anything from us."
