'Left 4 Dead 3' release date news: New installment to come out in 2017?
"Left 4 Dead 3" has continued to ride on the rumor mill for quite some time now. New reports suggest that the upcoming third installment of the first-person shooter video game with survival horror elements will come out at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 in Los Angeles.

If rumors prove to be true, it will be a major release from game developer Valve Corporation especially after co-developer Turtle Rock Studios had already denied any involvement with it. Phil Robb, the founder of Turtle Rock Studios, said during an interview with Xbox Achievements that his company has no plans of developing another "Left 4 Dead" sequel.
"I think we're pretty much done with it," said Robb. "It's Valve's thing now. We've kind of gone off in our own direction. So I'd kinda like to see something new being done with it, and Valve always does great stuff, but it'd be cool to go back to it as just a fan and not a developer. But I doubt you'll see anything from us."
However, new rumors have emerged that the two game developers are working together again for another installment. This speculation started after Turtle Rock Studios were seen posting a job listing on their website. Apparently, the company is looking for a new animation programmer who can help them develop a new project. Although they have not provided details of the said project, many fans believe that it will be "Left 4 Dead 3."
Meanwhile, an earlier report by Express UK suggested that "Left 4 Dead 3" will come out in 2017. Although this has yet to be confirmed by Valve or Turtle Rocks, many fans believe it will happen. The report added that the upcoming title will introduce new game characters, including the lone female protagonist named Katherine.
As of the moment, fans should take these pieces of information with a grain of salt until the game is confirmed by the game developers.
