For many years, the fans of the highly successful "Left 4 Dead" game series are expecting that Valve will be releasing a follow-up sequel to 2009's "Left 4 Dead 2." The rumors have started to grow even more since earlier this year as the fans took notice of signs that Valve may have been working on the third "Left 4 Dead" installment all along. Just recently, another information surfaced on the internet, suggesting the names of the new characters and game campaigns that will be introduced in the sequel.

The much-awaited "Left 4 Dead 3" details were leaked from an unknown source, revealing all the names of the main protagonists that will be introduced in the game. As reported by Digital Spy, a total of four characters can be expected by the players in the third "Left 4 Dead" chapter, that is if the rumors are to be believed. The group of main characters is composed of 3 men and 1 woman. The group is said to have teamed up for survival. The only female in the group is the 24-year old Caucasian named Katherine. Other characters include the African-American gang member Irvin, the Kenpo fighter Garrett Jr., and an avid comic book follower, Keenan.

The online publication also reported the latest leaked information on "Left 4 Dead 3" revealing that the still unannounced sequel will actually the prologue chapter for "Left 4 Dead 2." The events in "Left 4 Dead 3" are rumored to have taken place before the beginning of "Left 4 Dead 2."

Game N Guide reported that there will be at least six campaigns inn "Left 4 Dead 3," namely the Cliff Hanger, Crashland, Impasse, Inquisitor Land, Early Destination and No Mercy.

For now, it seems unlikely that Valve could come up with "Left 4 Dead 3" and release the game in the near future. There are rumors that the game is not expected to be released until 2018, while earlier reports suggest that 2017 might be the year to watch out for by the "L4D" fans.
