In a recent airing of VH1's new reality series "LeAnn and Eddie," country music singer LeAnn Rimes reconnected with her estranged father and reflected on the first song the two sang together when she was young, "Jesus Loves Me."

The third episode of the semi-scripted reality show followed LeAnn and her husband, Eddie, as they travel from Los Angeles, California to Nashville, Tennessee so the songstress can sing at the acclaimed Grand Ol Opry.

During their trip, LeAnn visits with her father, from whom she was estranged in 2000 after she sued him for allegedly stealing $8 million from her. The two eventually reconciled after the lawsuit was settled.

Rimes said on her reality show that she thinks "there's always a little bit of anxiety when my dad's around" because she wants to impress him. LeAnn added that for her and her dad to be able to sit and talk is an incredible thing, as they had such a large falling out just over a decade ago.

"It took us a while to kind of get back to where we are now and it amazes me because a lot of people don't come back from having that kind of falling out," LeAnn noted.

Towards the end of the third episode of "LeAnn and Eddie," LeAnn is shown having a conservation with her father on his porch in Tennessee. The two remember the first song LeAnn learned from her dad, "Jesus Loves Me," and the father and daughter quietly sang the song together.

"You sang [Jesus Loves Me] everywhere we went," LeAnn's father recalled.

"It's been years since I was able to do that with my father," LeAnn told the camera later. "I think it means more than we know to both of us to us to have this moment."
