'Kingdom Hearts' for PS4 release date, news, and updates: Square Enix plans to bring all main games to PS4

A lot of fans have been waiting for Square Enix's release of "Kingdom Hearts III," but this coming January will see the release of "Kingdome Hearts 2.5." What's more, Square Enix is also planning to release an HD remaster of all the main "Kingdom Hearts" games next year so players can enjoy them on the Playstation 4.
According to reports, the available games will be "Kingdom Hearts," "Kingdom Hearts 2," and "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Prologue." Players will also be able to get their hands on "Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance" which was formerly exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS. A new game is also available called "Fragmentary Passage" and users will also get access to a couple of "Kingdom Hearts" movies.
Destructoid reports that the package will be released in Japan this coming March 9, 2017, and North America will get a delayed release date on March 28.
"Kingdom Hearts" is one of the most universally celebrated video games in modern pop culture. The game is able to fuse the worlds of "Final Fantasy" and Disney movies. The gamer controls Sora as he is joined by Disney characters Goofy and Donald. Sora holds the Keyblade, and together with his friends, they travel un multiple Disney-themed worlds while battling creatures called the Heartless.
Among the different worlds in the game, "Kingdom Hearts" has featured places from "The Little Mermaid," "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Pirates of the Caribbean," and "The Lion King."
The full "Kingdom Hearts" remastered package for the PS4 is said to be released next year.
Remastered games are becoming a trend in the gaming industry. Just this month saw the release of two remastered editions of classic PS3 games, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and "Batman: Return to Arkham." The latter is a remastered versions of "Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City." Square Enix is even reportedly working on a remake of "Final Fantasy VII."
