Recent speculations suggested that Square Enix's crossover action role-playing game "Kingdom Hearts 3" will soon be available for the PC, and not just the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Sources said the Xbox One version of the game has been made available on the Japanese Xbox store. However, it disappeared shortly after, thus, confusing fans about the recent developments.

Some have reported that the listing was an accident, merely an error in the system. However, many believe that a remastered collection could be released, along with the previous installments of the game.

Furthermore, sources say that Kairi will be a new playable character in "Kingdom Hearts 3." The character will reportedly be joining forces with King Mickey, Sora, and Riku.

When "Kingdom Hearts 2" was released, Kairi was featured brandishing a Keyblade while fighting Heartless whipped fans. Gamers were disappointed that the character was not playable then, and are hoping to be able to use the character in the forthcoming installment.

To note, Kairi and Sora are great friends but Sora wants to be more than just friends. He intends to win Kairi over, even if he has to compete with another friend Riku.

The video game creator has yet to confirm the details about the game. Hence, fans should treat the recent information as mere speculation. Hopefully, the developers will make an announcement soon. Square Enix is currently focusing on "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue."

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is slated to launch on PS4 and Xbox One consoles next year. While waiting for updates about the game, fans can indulge on "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" which is scheduled for release this December. Sources reported that this will be a significant prequel for the upcoming installment "Kingdom Hearts 3."
