Kate Middleton, Prince William Escape on 'Babymoon' Vacation

British media outlets are reporting that Duchess Kate Middleton and the Duke of Cambridge William have taken a private vacation with their son, George, ahead of the arrival of their second child next year.
The couple has reportedly left on a brief "babymoon" vacation to Balmoral Palace in Scotland this week for some rest and relaxation. Since announcing her pregnancy earlier this year, Middleton has put on bed rest for suffering from severe acute morning sickness, and has only recently been photographed in public after feeling better.
"William wanted to take Kate away for a break after her [rough past couple of months]," a source close to the royal couple told Us Weekly. "They both love the outdoors and the weather isn't too cold yet, so it's the perfect time to take a trip."
The source added that the couple is excited to bring along their 14-month-old son George, who was born last summer. "It's great that George is now at an age where he can travel," the insider told the media outlet.
The couple also took a tropical "babymoon" ahead of the birth of their first child.
Several media outlets point out that the royals' recent trip goes against recent rumors that suggested the couple had been fighting and that Kate had moved back in with her parents during her sickness.
Balmoral Palace is located in the Scottish countryside and is a favorite vacation home for Queen Elizabeth II, who takes residence there for part of the year.
