According to the latest rumors, the production stage for the much anticipated "Jurassic World" sequel will begin next year, and some of the major scenes in the movie will be shot at different locations in Hawaii.

The new director taking over the seat of Colin Trevorrow from the first film is Antonio Bayona, and it was reported by the Jurassic Outpost that the official shooting of "Jurassic World 2" will start early next year. It is also expected that the production will take place in Hawaii, although majority of the filming will still happen at London's Pinewood Studios.

The lead stars of 2015's blockbuster hit movie "Jurassic World,"  Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are expected to reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel, while Steven Spielberg will return as the executive producer. Trevorrow was reported earlier to be replaced as the director in the sequel, although he is still expected to be a part of the movie's creative team. It is not confirmed, however, what his contribution on the movie will be exactly.

On the other hand, it was also rumored that "Jurassic Park" star Jeff Goldblum will be back in the world of genetically modified dinosaurs via "Jurassic World 2," although the actor immediately said that he will not be a part of it. He is said to have received an invitation to play his role from the first "Jurassic film" in the next movie.

"Yes. I was available," Goldblum said via Metro during the "Graham Norton Show. "If I never did anymore, I'd be entirely nourished and happy and fulfilled from having done these. They're doing spectacularly well without me," he explained. With that said, fans can't expect to see him in "Jurassic World 2."

To note, there have been no official statements or mentions from Universal Studios regarding the actual storyline of "Jurassic World 2" and the rumors surfacing on the Internet could be unproven hearsays from unconfirmed sources. However, Trevorrow shed some light about the sequel in an interview with Wired. It was revealed that the next story will not be confined within the walls of theme parks as opposed to the previous "Jurassic" movies. It will not be focused on "dinosaurs eating humans."
