The next episode of the franchise will see returning star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard to head the cast members of the movie. Both stars will go back to represent their characters as Owen Grady the dinosaur trainer and Claire Dearing, the unapologetic operations manager of the park.

During his Interview with Wired, "Jurassic World" director, Colin Trevorrow, said that fans can expect a different set up on the next installment. Apparently, the production will make sure that "Jurassic World 2" will no longer be set in a theme park or an island. It will be another plot, in which he detailed during the interview.

"I feel like the idea that this isn't always going to be limited to theme parks, and there are applications for this science that reach far beyond entertainment," the director said. "When you look back at nuclear power, and how that started, the first instinct was to weaponize it, and later on we found it could be used for energy. And this isn't something necessarily that was in the book but is a seed that I wanted to plant in this movie."

Meanwhile, there are speculations going around the Internet suggesting that "Jurassic World" will become a three-part series. The first installment of the series was able to make $1.6 billion since it came out, making it one of the highest grossing films of all time. Businesswise, a trilogy will be a good decision, which could possibly make the film company earn billions of dollars more.

"Jurassic World 2" is expected to hit the theaters first in June 7, 2018, in England and on June 22, 2019, in the US.
