Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of the TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting" will reportedly appear on Fox News this week in the wake of a molestation scandal involving their 27-year-old son, Josh Duggar.

Fox News announced over the weekend that Jim Bob and Michelle will sit down with Fox's Megyn Kelly of "The Kelly File" in their home in Arkansas to discuss the recent scandal that has caused the family's reality show to lose several sponsorships and be dropped from the Hulu television show service.

The first part of the interview will then air on the Wednesday airing of "The Kelly File," while the second part of the interview will air during a special one-hour "The Kelly File" on Friday.

"Next week, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will join Megyn Kelly on Fox News to discuss the heartbreaking situation involving Josh Duggar that their family went through 12 years ago," the reality show family said in a statement on their Duggar Family Blog website.

The family added that they hope the interview will allow them to "share our hearts with you about the pain that we walked through as a family twelve years ago, the tears we all shed and the forgiveness that was given."

"We appreciate the outpouring of love and prayers for our family at this time," they added.

Two weeks ago, Josh Duggar, now married, issued an apology after it was revealed through an unsealed police report that he allegedly molested five girls when he was age 14. Duggar's father, Jim Bob, contacted the authorities when his son turned 18.
