Jessa Duggar Celebrates 'Monthversary' With Husband Ben Seewald
Jessa Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" recently celebrated a "monthversary" with her newlywed husband, Ben Seewald.
The newlywed couple shared the celebration of their one-month wedding anniversary with viewers on social media, with Jessa sharing a sweet photo on Instagram of her receiving a kiss on the cheek from her husband.
"Today we're celebrating our 1 'monthiversary!' @ben_seewald, you're amazing! I'm so blessed to call you mine!" the 22-year-old reality show star wrote along with the photo.
Ben also shared the same photo on his Facebook, along with the caption: "Crazy to think we've been married for a month! I love you Sweetheart!"
"One month ago today, I married my best friend! I love you, Baby!" Seewald added.
The couple married in Arkansas in November at First Baptist Church in Bentonville. Unlike her sister Jill, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Derrick Dillard, Jessa and Ben chose to keep their first kiss together private at their 1,000-guest wedding ceremony.
Instead of kissing on the altar following their wedding ceremony, Jessa and Ben chose to kiss in private so their first peck could be just between the two of them. The couple did share a public kiss at their wedding reception.
"They wanted their very first kiss ever to be in private," Pastor Mike Schadt, who officiated the couple's wedding, previously told People magazine. "It was important to the both of them."
Jessa and Ben have previously shared their public displays of affection on social media, with the couple instagramming a photo of themselves kissing after their wedding. The photo led other married couples to share similar photos of themselves kissing.
