Jessa Duggar, Ben Seewald Expecting First Child Together

Jessa Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting" and husband Ben Seewald recently announced that they are expecting their first child together.

The reality show couple married back in 2014, and have confirmed to People magazine that they are expecting their first child to be due in November, on the same day as they celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

"We are so excited," the 22-year-old told People magazine this week of her exciting news. "The due date is November first, our wedding anniversary."

"We are looking forward to being parents," husband Ben added. "We are trying to take it one day at a time. […] We pray every night that God helps us be good parents. We are getting advice from other parents."

Jessa also took to Instagram to share the happy news with her many followers, sharing a photo of her and Ben, with Ben's hand resting on her growing baby bump.

"Ben and I are so excited to announce that we're expecting a baby!!!!! Due Nov. 1st!" Jessa shared.

The 22-year-old also shared a photo of a newborn's onesie hanging on a clothes line with the caption: "#BabySeewald."

Both Ben and Jessa have said that even if they are blessed with biological children, they would like to pursue the option of adoption in the future.

"Even before we were married, we wanted to adopt," Jessa previously told People magazine. "We hope to adopt a lot of kids."

 "If God blesses us with biological kids of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt," Jessa added to the media outlet.
