Jeremy Lin officially became a member of the Brooklyn Nets last July. He signed a $36 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets and is currently working on his performance to prove to management that taking him in wasn't a mistake.

The 27-year-old basketball player decided to switch teams to "have a clean slate" after his rather unexciting season with the Charlotte Hornets.

A source said that Lin intends to bring back "Linsanity," the aptly named basketball craze in 2012 when he was with the New York Knicks. One the best performances he had that season was during the Knicks' game on Feb. 14 against the Toronto Raptors. Lin made the last three-pointer that led to their team's 90-87 victory.

On Lin's website, he wrote a post revealing his summer drills and described his training for the upcoming season. The basketball star admitted that he has been working on all types of jump shots — catch-and-shoot 3's, off the dribble 3's, mid-range jumpers and iso jumpers.

In preparing for the next season, Lin also shared that he has been doing a lot of lifting, shooting workouts, skills workouts and scrimmaging. He has a team of people to help him practice and to help him improve. Lin said that he and his team go through past performances and stats to come up with a program to improve his game.

Lin also added that he has been working on a new form. "I've changed my form, brought my release lower and made the motion smoother in hopes of making it more consistent, creating a quicker release and using less energy so on night when I'm tired I can still shoot it well," he explained.

Lin and Brook Lopez will be teammates in Brooklyn. Many have started calling the duo "Brook-Lin," and reports said the Nets will be officially marketing the name. Hopefully, the duo's performance will not disappoint.
