After Jane (Gina Rodriguez) finally consummated her marriage with Michael (Brett Dier), The CW's "Jane the Virgin" season 3 will now have a new title card.

Last Monday's episode saw Jane finally lose her virginity, which is a momentous occasion for the titular heroine and the show. Now that Jane is no longer a virgin, the hit dramedy is making a huge adjustment. Moving forward, one of the major changes viewers will see in the series is its new title card. "Jane the Virgin" is still the title, but the words "The Virgin" have been crossed through.

Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman explained that the creators plan to change the title card every week depending on the themes and storyline explored in each episode. "We're keeping the title but with changes, like a line crossed through, like 'Jane the Guilty Catholic,'" she said.

Since its debut in 2014, the show's premise has been entirely hinged on Jane's continued abstinence despite having a baby in the first season and getting married in the second season. According to Urman, season 3 is the right time for Jane to lose her V-card after all the complications she previously dealt with.

"It felt like the right time where we put her through enough and we pulled as many frustrating stories about the fact that she's a mom and now married and still a virgin," the showrunner added. "I just felt like now was the time. I didn't have any drama or comedy left in that device."

On another note, The CW recently released a new promo still for an upcoming episode. Justin Baldoni, who plays Rafael, bares his ripped body in one scene as he seemingly talks to another character. The actor can be seen standing next to his car, while some of the other images show him wearing a purple button down shirt. Baldoni's shirtless scene will be featured in the fifth episode titled "Chapter Forty-Nine" on Nov. 14.

Keep tuning in to "Jane the Virgin" season 3 every Monday night at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
