The upcoming James Bond film currently goes by its working title "Bond 24," but that will change on Thursday, Dec. 4, when the cast and the title are unveiled.

The announcement will be made live from Pinewood Studios in the U.K., which is the home of the iconic film franchise. While its actual title and primary cast members are not yet known, it is certain that Daniel Craig will be reprising the role of 007 agent James Bond.

Craig will be returning to the franchise for the fourth time, joining Sam Mendes who will again be directing. The upcoming movie is next in line after "Skyfall" which went on to earn around $1.1 billion at the box office. "Skyfall" was the biggest film in the long-running franchise, fueling speculation that the next film will look to overtake it.

While Craig's involvement and Mendes returning as the director were announced earlier, the rest of the cast has not been introduced. This will be addressed on Thursday when a live stream from the 007 stage will unveil the cast.

News sources are reporting that many members of the "Skyfall" cast will be returning including Naomie Harris (who plays Moneypenny) and Ben Whishaw (who plays Q). Following M's (Judi Dench) death in the last film, Ralph Fiennes will step into that role.

However, the villain in the film remains unknown. Contenders for the spot include Chiwetel Ejiofor and Christoph Waltz.

In the preceding film, the villain was played by Javier Bardem who turned in a splendid performance. However, with BAFTA award winner Ejiofor and two-time Oscar Award winner Waltz in contention for the role, there isn't going to be any shortage when it comes to the number of people wanting to kill Bond.
