Jaden Smith viral death hoax news: Jaden is still alive

Jaden Smith is still alive. For over a month, the son of Jada and Will Smith has been plagued with a viral internet death hoax. Different reports have varying explanations for the young actor's alleged death.
There is a plethora of reported reasons for Jaden's supposed death. The more popular reasons include the actor committing suicide and dying from a spinal surgery. Though the actor has been active on social media, the false reports seemed to push through.
Sources said the spinal surgery death report circulated on Facebook and the catchy title was really just click-bait. The organization behind that particular report intended to lure interested and unsuspecting readers to click the lead, making their Facebook accounts vulnerable to hacking.
Reports seemed legitimate since many news outlets went to certain lengths to Photoshop famous news network logos such as CNN to make the report appear more credible.
As the reports continued to spread, over the week Jaden Smith's name has become a widely searched keyword in the United States, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and the Philippines. "Jaden Smith dead" and "Jaden Smith suicide" have been popular search activities over the last 24 hours.
Despite the bogus reports, Jaden remained mum about the subject. The actor has been active on social media, proving the death reports to be a ruse. Jaden was also recently spotted with his girlfriend Sarah Snyder attending events in New York Fashion Week.
Many stars have fallen victim to a death hoax. Miley Cryus, Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Angelina Jolie and Queen Elizabeth have all been victims of this sort of incident. Sources said that a particular news outlet has been identified to be the root of many celebrity death hoaxes. Social media users should be wary, since the click-bait news outlet reportedly intends to obtain users' personal information from their social media accounts.
