'iZombie' season 3 premiere spoilers: Liv and Vivian's contrasting opinions lead to conflict, Rahul Kohli hints bigger story arc for Ravi
The CW's comedy horror series "iZombie" will soon return for season 3, and viewers can expect a new breed of zombies who will bring more scares when the show premieres sometime this year.
According to spoiler reports, the new installment will see zombies with a special ability to disguise themselves as ordinary humans. Since they have various personalities, the protagonists will have a difficult time distinguishing them from a group of normal human beings. Meanwhile, Vivian and Liv will have contrasting opinions on a certain matter which will cause a conflict between them. Vivian wants zombies to fully inhabit the town while Liv is strongly against her suggestion, and it remains to be seen how they will work out their disagreement.
Ravi will also have a bigger story arc this season, according to actor Rahul Kohli. Since he is mostly on the sidelines and doesn't usually get into any kind of major trouble, fans might see him in a different light in the upcoming season. "I was told, based on what they want to do with the rest of the show, that if we go into our third season we want to delve into a little bit of Ravi's stuff," Kohli told TV Guide. "So they may break that formula slightly. At the moment that's just a conversation, but there may be more Ravi come next year."
During a Q & A panel, lead actress Rosie McIver told fans about an idea she came up with for an episode. She'd like to call it "iceZombie," and Liv would be eating a hockey player's brain while Major will consume the brain of a figure skater. However, it was just a suggestion from the actress and not an official part of the story.
The CW has yet to announce a premiere date for "iZombie" season 3.
