Islamic State Vows 9/11 Repeat, Says No Americans Are Safe
The Islamic State recently released a propaganda video vowing to attack the United States with another terrorist attack that mirrors the catastrophic September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City.
The recent video, entitled We Will Burn America, includes eleven minutes of graphic images that show the beheading of western journalist James Foley, as well as references to recent Islamic State-related terrorist attacks, including the recent shooting at a Jewish grocery store in Paris, France and the Islamic State-led cyber hacking of a French television network last week.
In the video, a speaker vows that there is "no safety for any American on the globe," adding that the idea of American safety is a "mirage."
"America thinks it's safe because of the geographical location. Thus you see it invades the Muslim lands, and it thinks that the army of the Jihad won't reach in their lands," the voiceover in the video says. "But the dream of the American to have safety became a mirage. Today there is no safety for any American on the globe."
"By Allah's willing, the fear will spread among them again soon," it continues. "Here it is America now losing billions still to make sure their country is safe. But today, it's time for payback."
"By the grace of Allah, today the mujahideen are much more stronger and they have more resources (than) before. Thus they are able to burn (the) United States again," the voiceover adds.
