ISIS rewards its informants with Christian and Yazidi slaves

A captured Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) fighter has revealed that the terrorist group is rewarding its members with Christian and Yazidi sex slaves for providing information about potential deserters and defectors.

In an interview with Alaan TV, Abu Al-Mughaira Al-Muhajer, a fighter captured in Aleppo, explained that ISIS would buy slave girls, with prices ranging from $250 to $300, to offer them as rewards.

Al-Muhajer stated that he himself received three sex slaves after he reported his own brother who wanted to leave ISIS.

He noted that all of the girls had been beaten on their backs. He said that he complained to an ISIS emir when he found out that the girls were not captured from battle.

"They told me that the girl from Damascus was a Yazidi, and that the two girls from Homs were Christians," Al-Muhajer stated, adding, "They told me that they had been captured, but it turned out that they were wives of FSA fighters from the Islamic Front."

"So I went to the emir and told him that they were not slave-girls or anything. He admitted that they were wives of FSA fighters, but said that they too needed to be captured," he added.

Last month, it was reported that Syrian rebel fighters discovered a prison used by ISIS to torture women in the Syrian city of Manbij. The fighters found sex stimulants, contraceptives and other pills at the site.

The facility had solitary confinements as well as rooms for groups. Military council group leader Omar Mazerli said that the prison was very well hidden.

In March, a report from the New York Times revealed that the slave girls are being forced by ISIS to ingest birth control pills to prevent pregnancy.

A 16-year-old girl, who had to swallow one pill each day, only realized months later that the pills were for birth control. She said that she had to take a box of pills with her whenever she was sold from one man to another.
