Iron Man in 'Captain America 3'? Tony Stark As The Villain?

Tony Stark is going to bring Iron Man to "Captain America 3" which, according to rumors, will feature the Civil War story from the comic books.
While promoting his film "The Judge," Robert Downey Jr. disclosed that he could return in an Iron Man suit although not in an "Iron Man 4" sequel which remains unheard of. Instead Iron Man is coming back in the next installment of the Captain America franchise. In breaking the news, Variety reports that Downey, who plays Tony Stark (aka Iron Man), may end up becoming an adversary of Steve Rogers (aka Captain America) played by
Chris Evans.
"Captain America 3" is due to begin production in spring 2015, and Downey is in the process of negotiating to star in the film. Given that Iron Man is an important part of the Avengers franchise and will appear in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" sequel, fans may expect that Iron Man will play an important role in "Captain America 3."
The Civil War comic book series, in which Captain America 3 is said to be based, involves the Superhero Registration Act. The law forces all superheroes to come forward with their real names and identifies to the US
Government and then join the police force.
Iron Man supports the legislation but Captain America does not. This eventually forces Steve Rogers to go underground to avoid arrest by the authorities. Stark tracks him down, resulting in a major confrontation. By attacking Captain America, Iron Man effectively becomes the villain in the film.
However, the conflict between Captain America and Iron Man is not expected to affect the upcoming "Avengers" sequel. Instead, the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America could provide more materials for future Captain America films and even a fourth Avengers movie.
As for the pay that Downey is expected to get, Variety reports that he will collect $40 million for the film. He is expected to get an additional pay if "Captain America 3" does better than the second film in the franchise.
