Many people are expecting the release of the next iPhone iteration from Apple. According to reports, the iPhone 7 could be launched in September 2016. However, speculations about the upcoming iPhone 8 have already hit the rumor mill, revealing its specs and features.

There are speculations that Apple has already started the idea of the iPhone 8. Reports suggest that the company will work more on the battery feature of the device. Apparently, the Cupertino-based company will use the technology they applied on their 12-inch MacBook, which is stacked with lithium-oxygen battery cells. The technology helps extend battery life of the device and is said to have motion charging and solar power.
According to MacWorld, the design of the upcoming smartphone has a durable feature because it uses Sapphire screens and not the regular Gorilla Glass. According to the publication, Apple will partner with Corning Glass Technologies to create Sapphire screens using a composite material they called Project Phire. According to reports, the new glass will have superior damage and scratch resistant feature.
The company will also use OLED screen with 3D display capabilities; however, there are also rumors circulating that iPhone 8 will be able to display hologram cells, which should be interesting once it gets materialized.
In a report by Bloomberg, Apple suppliers are said to be working real hard to bring new screen technologies for the company in 2017. Apparently, Apple has demanded a new kind of OLED screen, which is organic and provides higher-definition display.
According to a Minneapolis-based analyst, Gene Munster, Apple wants bigger upgrades to happen in 2017.
"Some tooling or machinery orders now set up suppliers for the fall of 2017," Munster said in a report by Bloomberg. "It sets up the iPhone in the fall of 2017 to be more of an impactful upgrade than the fall of this year."
Apple has yet to provide an official statement with regard to the reports.
