"New iPhone shipments to be capped by similar form factor as iPhone 6s & 6s Plus; top hardware upgrade is dual camera (5.5-inch model only), though many competing models with dual camera will launch soon, joining others already on the market; first impressions could underwhelm," Kuo said.

The rumors about the phone having dual cameras have started early this year and it appears to be gaining some momentum as fans continue to talk about it despite Apple silence. According to Kuo, the new iPhone 7 will have two versions – one with the dual camera feature, while the other one is the conventional iPhone set up. Although nothing has been set in stone yet, many fans are excited how the two versions would look like once rolled out in the market.

According to a report from MacRumors, Apple's acquisition of the highly regarded company, LinX technology, will certainly improve the camera feature of the upcoming iPhone 7. Rumor has it that the company will try to achieve the "DSLR-quality" amongst their future devices.

If rumors prove to be true, the new camera technology of their future devices will carry a 3D depth mapping, ultra HDR, higher resolution, decreased noise levels, zero shutter lag, low costs and better color uniformity and accuracy.

As of the moment, Apple has yet to make an official announcement regarding the rumored device. It is best to take these details with a grain of salt until the company confirms all rumors.
