If the latest reports are anything to go by, there are only a few weeks left before Apple Inc. formally introduces the all-new iPhone 7 to the public. The next big event of the Cupertino-based tech giant this September is said to showcase the latest iPhone, and it is going to revolutionize the traditional look of the smartphone as it is rumored to get rid of some features. One of those is the old Home button featured in the iPhone series for the past few years.

As Forbes reported, Apple will be unveiling the new iPhone 7 device in their Fall event, and so far, the leaks suggest that it will be removing the Home button, which the online publication described to be "very outdated." To replace the Home button, it is expected that the iPhone 7 will be introducing a more efficient Home button that is "touch-capacitive."

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman stated that the new Home button is going to allow a long list of new commands contained in just a single screen portion. This is made by possible by the enhanced Force touch feature, which will have multiple levels of touch-sensitivity. Varying press force will yield a number of possible commands. It is also comparable to the trackpad feature of MacBook, which gives feedback through a vibrating "haptic sensation."

Aside from the Home button, Apple is also rumored to get rid of the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack, which will give the iPhone 7 a thinner, sleeker, and more classic look. Instead of the earphone jacks, the new iPhone will be using wireless headphones that will rely on a new Bluetooth technology that is going to be announced during the day of the iPhone 7's unboxing.

Cult of Mac reported that Apple has been developing a custom low-power Bluetooth chip specially for wireless earbuds that will enable wireless headphone features. It is expected that this Bluetooth chip will make its debut this Fall as the iPhone 7 will be unveiled during the same event. The wireless earphone of the iPhone 7 will introduce an improvement on limited battery capacity, which is the usual issue for other Bluetooth headphones. This Bluetooth chip technology was originally developed by the tech company previously absorbed by Apple back in 2013, the Passif Semiconductor.
