With the iPhone 6 release dating two years ago, fans are now anticipating the launch of iPhone 7 in the market.

Without any official announcement yet from Apple, fans mostly rely on the rumors circulating online as of the moment. According to Business Korea, the rumored design of the iPhone 7 will have some of its parts made of new ceramics materials. It is also speculated to boast a 12-megapixel camera, super AMOLED display panel, Apple's A10 processor, and improved 3D Touch technology. The iPhone 7 will also have a high-speed and waterproof charging feature.

There is also a high probability that the iPhone will not have a headphone jack. According to reports of leaked photos rendered to predict iPhone 7's look, the new iPhone will have a flat back and curved sides, similar to the current iPhone 6s. On the contrary, in place of a headphone jack is a lightning port connector.

Following the "Bendgate" issue with the iPhone 6s, liquid chassis might be considered instead of the aluminum material in making the iPhone 7. "Liquidmetal is also said to be under consideration as a material for the chassis, because it's more durable than aluminium: a smaller quantity of this material can be used to achieve the same degree of strength as the metal used for Apple's current iPhones. This would enable Apple to keep the bigger iPhone light and thin, despite the bigger screen," as reported by Macworld UK.

Adding to the rumored features is the e-SIM, which reportedly will be the end to traditional SIM cards. The SIM card will be an embedded part of the iPhone in replace for a physical SIM card. In a report by PC Advisor UK, the benefits of it are as follows: "First things first, it'll make switching carriers easy and should allow for more flexible roaming. The idea is that with a standardized e-SIM, you'll be able to make a call and switch operators without having to insert a specific SIM card. This idea translates to roaming too, as it'll be much easier to switch to a local network if you're looking to spend a long period of time in a particular country. "

As for the release date, given that the iPhone 6s was released September last year, there are speculations the iPhone 7 will be launched September this year.
