iPhone 6 vs Motorola Droid Turbo Review: Specs, Features Comparison - Tough Competition Between Devices

While iPhone 6 is the very best that Apple has to offer so far in terms of design and specs in a smartphone, the Motorola Droid Turbo does not lack in both departments as it features cutting edge materials such as metalized glass, Kevlar and the latest display.

As far as design goes, the iPhone 6 has top quality metal buttons, a handy lock key on its right while the volume key is on the left, all of which are very easy to use. Compared to this, the Droid Turbo, has physical buttons on its side, but the navigation has to be done via the onscreen buttons. Also it is thicker and broader than the iPhone 6 which makes it more difficult to hold in one hand.

As for their display the Motorola Droid Turbo has a 5.2 inch AMOLED screen and a resolution of 1440 x 2560-pixels providing a pixel density of 565 pixels per inch. The Apple iPhone 6 has a smaller 4.7 inch IPS LCD display with resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels with a density of 326 pixels per inch. This difference of pixel density ensures that the Droid Turbo is better when it comes to reading small fonts while the iPhone 6 has better reproduction of colors.

The Droid Turbo has the Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 805 coupled with a Krait 450 CPU clocked at 2.7GHz and 3 GB of RAM. Compared to this, the iPhone 6 has the A8 dual core chip and just 1 GB of RAM. But when compared head to head in a number of benchmark tests, the iPhone 6 manages to outscore the Droid Turbo in many.

As for internal storage the Droid Turbo comes in two versions: 32GB and 64GB. The iPhone 6 has three versions: 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB. However, both do not have any microSD card slot.

Comparing their price, without any contract the iPhone 6 costs $649 while the Motorola Droid Turbo costs $599.
