Much has not been disclosed officially yet on Apple's iPad Pro roster since Apple Inc. has announced its other flagship variants such the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus along with the redesigned MacBook Pro in October. And while most are purely coming from a speculated standpoint, the rumors about the upcoming iPad Pro model 9 (or models) are nevertheless still worth a try — but not until as of late.

According to Barclays Research analysts Blayne Curtis, Christopher Hemmelgarn, Thomas O'Malley and Jerry Zhang, Apple is set to unveil three new iPad Pro variants on March 2017. The launching will reportedly include a refreshed 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch versions along with the much-awaited, bezel-free 10.9-inch model.

Furthermore, MacRumors has shared via a research note that the analysts have revealed that the 10.9-inch version's borderless design will enable the device to be similar to the physical size of the current-generation 9.7-inch iPad Pro model. An indication that the display will have an edge-to-edge design, eliminating the home button.

The speculations about the arrival of new iPad Pro models have also surfaced previously with an apparent difference on the models' sizes. Noted KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had stressed months ago that a new 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be launched in 2017. Moreover, Mac Otakara, an established Japanese website, has shared that a new 10.1-inch iPad Pro is slated to be revealed in early 2017.

Meanwhile, the analysts from Barclays, along with Kuo, have revealed that the purported 9.7-inch iPad Pro model would be priced at a low price, akin to its 7.9-inch iPad Mini variant. According to the analysts, the Cupertino-based firm will extend the production and marketing of the current iPad Mini 4 which was launched in 2015.

All the upcoming iPad Pro models will be equipped with quad microphones and will still be sporting the 3.5mm headphone ports.
