iPad Pro 2 specs rumors 2016: New iPads will carry A10X processors

There are several rumors surrounding the development and upcoming release of the Apple iPad Pro 2. Many fans are excited to know what the company has in store for the next flagship tablet. When the Cupertino-based company released the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro earlier this year, many people expected it. Assuming that Apple releases new models every year, fans should not expect the successor of the iPad Pro this year. However, a new 12.9-inch iPad Pro might arrive before the year ends.
According to Apple Insider, KGI security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts the company to release several tablets next year, which includes two iPad models and a 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The new iPad Pro model is said to be a budget version of the 9.7-inch iPad. According to Kuo, both the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2 and the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will carry an A10X processor along with other impressive specs.
According to the publication, the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro will replace the popular 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The tech analyst also said that Apple will still release a new 9.7-inch iPad next year but it will carry a less powerful A9X processor. A new 9.7-inch iPad Pro with an A10X processor is expected in 2018.
Meanwhile, according to a report by PC Advisor, there are two possible release dates for the iPad Pro 2, either September 2017 or March 2017. The publication based their prediction on the previous releases of the original iPad Pro models. The first iPad Pro was released in September 2015 and if Apple follows a yearly timeline, the next iPad Pro device will come out next month.
As of the moment, Apple has yet to provide the details of its rumored September event but fans expect more updates about the development and release of the iPad Pro 2 to be revealed soon.
