iPad Air 3 release date, specs rumors and news: iPad Air 3 to launch next year?

Apple has a tradition of launching a brand new model of the iPad each year. Since the tech giant just launched the iPad Pro last March, the iPad Air 3 is expected to launch sometime next year. Although little is known about the upcoming tablet, the rumor mill suggested that the iPad Air 3 will have all the advanced features present in the iPad Pro as well as its own unique components.
According to Yibada, the iPad Air 3 will be made of harder aluminum material, which will ultimately lead to a thinner design. But this feature might not be exclusive to this particular line of tablets. Future Apple devices might come with the said feature if proven to be successful.
The tablet will also boast upgrades, particularly an iOS 10 operating system, which will give users a better interface. The unit might reportedly have all the great elements that have been added to the iPad Pro. For instance, the iPad Air 3 may have the iPad Pro's dual-speaker set up. The iPad Pro's speakers are said to be more advanced than the previous units.
Three variations in storage capacity will be released — a 64 GB, a 128 GB, and a 256 GB tablet.
Rumors said the upcoming unit will have an A10 processor. Furthermore, the news outlet reported that the forthcoming tablet could have the True Tone display panel that the iPad Pro has. If the unit will come with this feature, it will be sold for $599. If it doesn't, the iPad Air 3 will most likely range from $499 to $549.
Meanwhile, there have been rumors implying that Apple will be focusing on developing a 12.9-inch iPad Pro next year. Hence, the iPad Air's launch might again be pushed back.
On the other hand, there have been reports suggesting that the iPad Air 3 will be launched in March 2017, instead of this November.
Apple has yet to confirm any of the recent speculations.
