iPad Air 3 release date rumors: March 2016 Apple Event expected to host launch
Apple is currently preparing for their March event and rumor has it that the iPad Air 3 will be part of the company's lineup explosion. It is reported that Apple will announce several products under their wing that could come out in the market later this year.
Nevertheless, the middle of March is fast approaching and there is still no confirmation of the date with regard to the said event. All Apple fans have now are merely rumors and speculation since Apple has not put out any official word as of this moment.
Although there are rumors that the event will happen on Mar 15, 21 and 22, all these are still simply predictions and rumors created by fans and analysts online.
There are reports that the iPad Air 2 may be the last familiar iPad consumers will ever see since Apple is allegedly changing the concept of their iPad line up. It appears that they are trying to simplify or trim down the next model of the series. If rumors are true, iPad Air 3 could fall into a different lineup and could fall under the iPad Pro series.
According to 9 to 5 Mac, it was rumored that the new 9.7-inch iPad Pro model will be launched by Apple in the March event. The current 12.9 -inch iPad pro tablet was launched in September 2015. Although it is bigger than the rumored new model, the new one will carry the same specs under the hood as its bigger brother.
The smaller iPad Pro will allegedly carry the same powerful A9X processor and will run with a 4 GB RAM. It will also have the same 4-speaker system, which will make this new model pretty competitive once it comes out. The storage options will be the same as the 12.9-inch iPad Pro as well as the choices in body color.
With all the rumors and speculations, fans should still wait for the official announcement from Apple before jumping to conclusions.
