Green Monday sales mean that Christmas is just around the corner. This year, consumer electronics superstore Best Buy is looking to attract shoppers with stellar deals on the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.

By far the most popular discount at Best Buy is the immediate $50 off on the new iPad Air 2 models. While it isn't a replication of the $100 Black Friday discount that the store offered on the iPad Air 2, the latest offer still ensures customers get good returns for their money. That particular sale saw three 16 GB Wi-Fi models priced at $399.99, while the pricier models with cellular were offered for $529.99.

The current sale by Best Buy is one of the best offers on the market on Green Monday and it is due to run until stocks last. However, several sites have pointed out that stocks could run out in a couple of hours just like what happened during Thanksgiving. On that day, Best Buy was forced to delay delivery of some iPad Air 2 units bought by customers because their stocks ran out. The store even charged others expedited shipping costs if they wanted their iPad Air 2 devices shipped before Dec.10.

On the iPad Mini 3 discount on Green Monday, Best Buy is offering a higher $100 discount for the higher end models. However, the discount for the lower end models such as the 16GB WiFi iPad Mini 3 in silver, space gray and gold is only $49.99, which brings the final price to $349.99.

The same model with WiFi coupled with cellular is available at $479.99 after a $49.99 discount. Meanwhile, the 64GB WiFi only model in three colors is going for $424.99 after a $74.99 discount. The highest discount as mentioned above is reserved for the 128GB WiFi Only and WiFi + Cellular models which are priced at $499.99 and $629.99, respectively, for a savings of $99.01.
