Apple Inc.'s new set of iPad entries in 2017 is now gearing up to be its most diverse and flexible at the moment as details about the favorited roster have started to rain on its rumored release during the first quarter next year. And what massive lineup it is going to be once they get unveiled!

According to Taiwanese supply chain makers, the Cupertino-based firm is slated to launch a 10.5-inch iPad variant in 2017. They noted that the production of these iterations will begin in December and they are set to be marketed to enterprises, the education sector and other sectors.

Furthermore, the sources have indicated that Apple has intended to launch the variant because 10-inch and larger tablets have now been proven to be popular to enterprises and education sectors in the United States. As such, the existing 7.9-inch may be too small while the 12.9-inch iPad Pro is deemed to be a bit pricey.

The purported 10.5-inch iPad will be armed with Apple-made central processing unit (CPU) A10X, the chipset that was utilized in the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. In addition, the sources have shared that the shipments of 10.5-inch iPad variant should be able to reach two million units in its first quarter and may be able to generate further a five to six million units by the end of 2017.

On the other hand, the sources have also revealed that Apple is planning to launch a lower-priced version of the 9.7-inch iPad in order to rival some of Android's offerings. The 10.5-inch model will be unveiled alongside the previously hinted three iPad Pro versions which may also include the heavily rumored iPad Pro Mini, the device which may conclude the iPad Mini series.

The iPad 10.5-inch is scheduled to be revealed during Apple's March event in 2017.
