iO8 Features and Problems: iOS 8.0.2 Released Just One Day Following 8.0.1 Problems

With the release of the iOS 8 posing some minor problems to some users, Apple immediately decided to release the iOS 8.0.1, which was aimed to fix all bugs following the initial release. Bad news is that the new update didn't go so well either.
Instead of fixing issues, a louder outcry from Apple users plagued the company. Users reported failure to connect to cellular networks, as well as problems with the Touch ID, after installing the 8.0.1 update. Within an hour Apple had withdrawn the update, and issues an apology.
Just one day after the release of iOS 8.0.1, Apple issued another update, the iOS 8.0.2, which is a "fix for the prior fix targeting issues with the HealthKit framework for connected wellness apps and devices". As of Friday lunchtime, the second update appears to be going much more smoothly.
Users say that the iOS 8 is not as "ambitious" than the previous Apple mobile OS, iOS 7, which featured a complete "revamp" of the user interface.
One particular problem about the iOS 8 is the amount of space it requires from Apple gadgets. With the internal storage being non-upgradable and with the new iOS 8 requiring at least 5GB upon download, it means deleting videos, photos and files just to accommodate the new Apple mobile operating system.
Apple in a statement said, "We are actively investigating these reports and will provide information as quickly as we can. In the meantime, we have pulled back the iOS 8.0.1 update."
"We have a workaround for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users who lost cellular service and Touch ID functionality today after updating to iOS 8.0.1. Affected users can reinstall iOS 8 through iTunes, for more information visit http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6487. We apologize for the great inconvenience experienced by users, and are working around the clock to prepare iOS 8.0.2 with a fix for the issue, and will release it as soon as it is ready in the next few days, " Apple added.
