'Injustice 2' release date, news, rumors: Gameplay demo, beta version coming up soon

Even though the exact release date of NetherRealm Studios' upcoming fighting video game sequel "Injustice 2" is not yet confirmed, there are now rumors that the first gameplay demo and beta version for the game will be released in the coming months.
"Injustice 2" game director Ed Boon recently teased the fans via his Twitter updates that a new demo or beta version can be expected. In reply to one of the fans' questions, Boon tweeted that there is a possibility that NetherRealm Studios will release the demo for "Injustice 2" soon.
According to PvP Line, the official details will come straight from NetherRealm Studios at the upcoming PlayStation Experience (PSX) 2016 this December. The fans are speculating that the highly successful game studio will reveal the demo during the event.
However, the fans might be more interested to know when the game itself will arrive. There are rumors suggesting that NetherRealm Studios might not make it to their initial release schedule for "Injustice 2." One of the possible reasons of the delay is the ongoing strike among the known voice actors that are going to be involved in the video game. Specifically, the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists have been on strike to demand rightful compensation for a two decade-old contract.
Initially, it was believed that "Injustice 2" will be released in March 2017, although this can still change as the game studio has no final word yet regarding the matter. For now, NetherRealm Studios is reportedly working hands on to finish the game as soon as possible in spite of the rumored actor's guild strike. Also, it is rumored that NetherRealm will also be busy in developing the mobile game version of "Injustice 2."
Still, there are a lot of things that the fans should look forward to in the upcoming sequel. The fans have only become more eager to have "Injustice 2" as soon as possible. According to News Everyday, "Injustice 2" will feature the classic DC characters such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Wonderwomen, Gorilla Grodd, Blue Beatle, Dead Shot, Atrocitus and Harley Quinn.
One of the new major characters to join the "Injustice 2" roster is the infamous Ra's al Ghul, Event Hubs reported. Ra's has played a very vital role in other DC media, like "The Dark Knight" film series and the DC comic-based TV series "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Arrow." In "Injustice 2," his participation is also expected to be crucial as well.
