Huawei P9 release date and specs rumors: Another leaked photo still shows dual camera features

The much-anticipated Huawei flagship smartphone, Huawei P9, is expected to be revealed at the upcoming press event set by the Taiwan-based tech company on Apr. 6 in London. Ahead of its forthcoming launching, a new leak has emerged online, which shows how the handset would look like in actuality.
Although there have been numerous leaks in the past months about the Huawei P8 successor, rumor has it that the new one is the real deal. The images are said to have come from a Chinese website, MyDRivers, who claimed to have a legitimate source from the inside.
Earlier this month, renowned tipster, Evan Blass, had also leaked a few images of the said gadget on his Twitter account. A week ago, the president of the company was spotted using a smartphone with a dual camera on it. Many believe that he was testing out the upcoming P9.
Although Huawei has yet to provide any official comment with regard to these leaks, many fans believe that the company has carefully planned to hype up the P9 leading up to its release this year.
Basing on the leaked photos, the Huawei P9 appears to sport a metal body. It also has the rumored dual camera, which is a total game changer if these leaks prove to be true.
Meanwhile, nothing has been announced yet but specs of the upcoming flagship smartphone are already circulating over the Internet for the past months. According to reports, the P9 will carry a 5.2-inch screen with 1080p resolution. Many expect it to have impressive items under the hood such as the HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core processor, along with its 3 GB of RAM for multitasking. However, the high-end version of the handset will run on a Kirin 955 chipset to go along with its 4 GB of RAM. It will also boast a Mali-T880 GPU and a 3900 mAh battery.
Fans must take note that the information will remain as rumors until the company confirms them.
