Huawei P9's much-awaited successor, Huawei P10, is gearing up to have some of its most distinct changes of its own. And as a device that is destined to succeed the highly acclaimed entry from the Chinese manufacturer, that is no easy feat. A bankable iteration for Huawei, the Huawei P9 will surely catapult the company into further financial gains and a greater reputation as days are about to stretch all the way to the holidays.
But the unstoppable behemoth Huawei P9 is currently generating for Huawei may soon come to conclusion as its much-awaited successor is reportedly now in the works, full time. The Leica-toting smartphone, Huawei P10's vital rendering have now been outed to the public and clearly it is en route to introducing numerous changes.
A render of Huawei P10 has shown that the upcoming iteration will have its ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in front, a major deviation from its predecessor whose scanner was situated at its rear portion. In addition, the purported scanner is believed to function as a capacitive functionality as opposed to a physical home button.
Another prototype of Huawei P10 has surfaced just previously, which indicated that the next entry may be sporting a dual-curved display, an offering that is very much akin to the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The renditions have also suggested that Huawei P10 may also come with a second model apart from its regular, flat variant.
Huawei P10 is tipped to sport a 5.5-inch quad high-definition (QHD) display and will be powered by Huawei's proprietary chipset, Kirin 960. The processor will be supported by 6GB of random-access memory (RAM) and 128GB/256GB tiers of internal storage. An Android Nougat out-of-the-box and the company's EMUI v5.0 are also expected to run the device.
Huawei P10 is scheduled to be unveiled at the end of April 2017.
