Huawei and Leica are definitely on a roll and no one, not even themselves, can stop their incredible force.

With the recent launchings of Huawei P9 and Huawei Mate 9, Chinese mega smartphone manufacturer Huawei Technologies and optics leader Leica have proven to the world and Huawei's competition that their fusion is the one to beat in the industry where camera features are increasingly becoming to be the most sought-after functionality in a smartphone.

This collaboration has further been proven with their recent development on planning to erect a new R&D facility in Germany to cement their partnership. Now, another key phase of their relationship has surfaced, courtesy to Huawei P10's leaked rendering. The leaked image has shown a dual-camera set-up that is akin to Honor 8's offering. It has also revealed to have a rear which encased in a glass, with its top pointing to a gray hue.

Furthermore, the two cameras are situated side-by-side, unlike Huawei Mate 9's vertical outing. Meanwhile, an embedded flash is seen just beside the right of the cameras; a fingerprint scanner has also been revealed to be placed below it. While all of these are welcoming as these have already been put out in the open, most of these are not that ground-breaking.

However, the same couldn't be said for Huawei P10's speculated set of specifications. Needless to say, the much-awaited device may sport some of the most advanced offerings in the arena now. These include the firm's proprietary Kirin 960 chipset, which will be supported by 6GB random-access memory (RAM) and 256GB internal storage.

Huawei P10 is likewise expected to be encased in a 5.5-inch quad high-definition (QHD) display — a first on its main flagship. Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI v5.0 is also expected to run the upcoming device's software design.
