Huawei is known for many things lately. Apart from its massive global sales due to its incredible marketing strategy that is only outpaced by its products' reliable and competitive specifications, another reputation is about to be associated with the Chinese manufacturer â€” that is, its brand's confidence on widening an already growing, acclaimed series.

With Huawei Mate 9 Lite, Huawei has once again proven that confidence goes a long way in terms of reputation. Not one among its peers has come up with such an offering in which the lineup that everyone thought was already done has just been upped with yet another entry. That goes to show that Huawei has so much faith in its products, a brand feature that can definitely boost its market in the long run.

While Huawei Mate 9 Lite did not get the same treatment as its siblings Huawei Mate 9, Huawei Mate 9 Pro and Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design, all of which were launched during a special event, its features are by no means bereft of its siblings' offerings.

Huawei Mate 9 Lite packs a powerful set of specifications. It is powered by a 2.1GHz octa-core Kirin 655 processor which is supported by 3GB random-access memory (RAM) and 32GB of native storage. The mid-range smartphone is encased in a glorious 5.5-inch full high-definition (FHD) resolution and will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the firm's proprietary EMUI 4.1. Meanwhile, Huawei has shared that the variant is slated to come with a bumped-up 4GB RAM/64GB native storage variant, which is going to be launched on the market soon.

Huawei Mate 9 is sporting a dual-camera setup: a 12-megapixel (MP) + 2MP along with an 8MP front-facing snapper â€” all of which, unfortunately, are not supported by Leica's optical wonders. Furthermore, it will be fueled by a 3,340-milliampere-hour (mAh) battery and a fingerprint sensor that is situated right below the camera system.

Huawei Mate 9 Lite is going to be offered in three color variants â€” gold, gray and silver.
