HTC Vive VR headset latest news, reviews and updates: Demo game rooms to open for public

Bringing premium quality Virtual Reality to homes has always been the primary reason why HTC and Valve teamed up for the HTC Vive Pre, which is one of the most popular and impressive VR headsets to be launched this year.
PCAdvisor recently tried the HTC Vive Pre, and according to them, "While the original HTC Vive headset was fairly bulky, it wasn't the most uncomfortable headset to wear – although it could become uncomfortable over long periods of time. HTC then went back to the drawing board and revealed the HTC Vive Pre headset, a headset that was more ergonomically shaped and much more lightweight than its predecessor. "
In terms of handheld controllers, the HTC Vive Pre has two. In comparison with the Oculus Rift and the Vbox One controller, they see it as "versatile and used in a number of different ways in the virtual world." Triggers are also present in the controllers, which is a touch-enabled panel plus various physical buttons along with built in sensors which find the person's location in the room. This leads the players to an immersive virtual world, as they are allowed to reach out and directly interact with objects. It offers a unique and undescribable experience which gamers will very much appreciate.
In a report by ITPro, Currys PC World stores will have HTC Vive demo game rooms as told by Start replay editor and part-time Currys employee Joshua Ball. One out of the three stores will be open for customers who want to try out the headsets. Ball recently disclosed the news in Start Reply, only to be taken down which implies that the information is right. Given that the existence of the demo game room is not yet confirmed, the games which will be available for trial remains unknown as well. However, Tilt Brush and Job Simulator might be among the choices as Ball suspects. Moreover, the presence of Surgeon Simulator and the Portal VR demo in past demo events might make the two games included in the list.
